The imam of holy al-Aqsa Mosque Mohamed Hussein called on the Palestinians to stand up for their legitimate rights until their last breath.
Speaking during Friday’s Khutbah (sermon) Hussein called on the Palestinians to combine forces so as to defend their holy sites across the occupied Palestinian territories.
Hussein sounded the alarm over the attacks carried out by Israeli settlers and forces on Palestinian olive pickers and the theft of their harvest.
The imam strongly condemned the escalated pace of Israel’s settlement activity across the occupied Palestinian territories warning of underway attempts to spark tension and create divisions between the peoples of the Middle East.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday’s noon prayers at holy al-Aqsa Mosque amid tight security measures by the Israeli occupation forces.
