The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) office in Washington agreed on Monday to build a database of Palestinians living in the United States.
President of the PCBS Ola Awad and Husam Zomlot head of the PLO office in the U.S. agreed in their meeting in Washington to cooperate in conducting a survey of the Palestinian community living in the U.S. in order to develop a database of their numbers and places of living.
A professional web tool will be conducted to build a database for the Palestinian community throughout the U.S. said Awad.
Awad added that the poll will include any person who identifies himself or herself as Palestinian and it will be based on international and scientific standards.
