Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Saturday broke into Youth against Settlement center and Palestinian homes in different locations in al-Khalil city in the southern West Bank. IOF soldiers arrested a man after he allegedly tried to attack a Jewish settler in the city.
A local source reported that Israeli troops stormed Tel al-Rumaida and other neighborhoods near the illegal settlement of Ramat Yishai where the center is located. They wreaked havoc in the center and the homes they raided in the area. IOF soldiers erected military barriers in the site and blocked traffic he added.
He also pointed out that IOF soldiers confiscated private security cameras’ records from Palestinian homes and commercial shops at the pretext of security reasons after the alleged attack on a Jewish settler in the area.
The detained man who was not identified was taken to an unknown destination he added.
