The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate warned in a statement issued Saturday of the serious escalation of Israeli violations against journalists.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out over the past month serious violations against dozens of Palestinian journalists most recently was the attack on and arrest of the photographer Alaa Badarneh and the severe beating of the journalist Jaafer Ishteih while covering West Bank weekly clashes the statement read.
A group of journalists were violently attacked by IOF soldiers while covering events near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil the syndicate added.
Seven Israeli violations were documented against journalists in the occupied Palestinian territories over August the statement pointed out.
The syndicate stressed its total determination to continue exposing Israeli crimes against Palestinian people.
