Senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya has affirmed that his Movement is seeking to bring the Palestinian people together around the option of resistance as a means to liberate their occupied land.
Hayya made his remarks in a speech during a memorial service held on Friday for martyr Mohamed Hassan a prominent resistance figure from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas who passed away a few days ago.
“Our struggle against the occupation is ongoing and will only end when Palestine is liberated” the Hamas official said.
He stressed the need “for a national unity based on a political program that preserves the Palestinian refugees’ rights especially their right to return and liberate every part of the Palestinian soil.”
