Israeli settlers stormed Wednesday morning al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy protection of Israeli police.
The settlers forced their way into the Mosque via al-Magharibeh gate and carried out provocative tours.
Israeli police have intensified their presence in the compound since the early morning hours to provide protection for the settlers.
Israeli settlers and politicians have been violating the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque on an almost daily basis and always under the protection of police forces which often attack Palestinian worshipers who try to protect their holy site.
