Israeli police raids house of Nimer Jamal takes its measurements

Wednesday 27-September-2017

Israeli police forces at dawn Wednesday stormed the house of 37-year-old Nimer Jamal who carried out the day before a shooting attack on Israeli soldiers west of occupied Jerusalem and was killed in the process.

The Israeli forces broke into and ransacked his house in Beit Surik village west of occupied Jerusalem and took its measurements as a prelude to demolishing it.

Israeli police said permits to Jamal family allowing them to work in Israel would be withdrawn as part of Israeli authorities’ collective punishment policy.

A complete curfew has been imposed in the village while several military checkpoints were erected in the surrounding areas.

Palestinian traffic has been blocked from and to the village.

Earlier Tuesday violent clashes broke out in the village following the shooting attack. 27 Palestinians were injured during the confrontations.
