Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) on Tuesday announced the arrest of a Palestinian resistance cell from Occupied Jerusalem Hebrew TV channel Seven reported.
The Hebrew channel said that the Israeli police in cooperation with the Shin Bet managed in the recent weeks to arrest 8 Palestinians who planned to carry out shooting attacks against Israeli targets in Jerusalem.
The Israeli intelligence claimed that the detainees confessed to the charges leveled against them and to taking part in stone-throwing attacks against settlers’ vehicles.
A court hearing is scheduled to be held on Wednesday in which an indictment will be filed against the eight detainees.
