Palestinian detainee Ezzedine Amarna 55 has started an open-ended hunger strike in an Israeli jail to protest administrative detention with neither charge nor trial.
Prisoner Amarna who was kidnapped just a few days ago received an administrative prison-term on Monday which made him declare an open-ended hunger strike.
The sightless detainee has been locked up for a total of six years in Israeli jails on account of his pro-Hamas affiliations and anti-occupation stances.
