Palestinians including representatives of national organizations performed Friday prayer and participated in a sit-in held in al-Ras al-Ahmar area in Tubas in protest at Israeli violations against the inhabitants at the pretext of their presence at an Israeli-announced military zone.
Mohammad Besharat told the PIC reporter that the event also aimed at protesting the escalation of the Israeli confiscation of farmers’ vehicles and agricultural tractors as well as banning them from accessing their lands because of Israeli military drills.
Al-Ras al-Ahmar is located in the plain of Atouf near Tamoun town in Tubas governorate and is inhabited by dozens of farmers and shepherds.
