Israeli military bulldozers demolished Thursday morning the Bedouin village of al-Araqib for the 118th time under heavy police protection.
The bulldozers stormed early today the village after Israeli forces closed all its entrances.
Al-Araqib is one of 45 “unrecognized” Bedouin villages in the Negev desert in southern Israel that authorities refuse to provide their residents with connections to water and electricity grids or to provide them with health and educational services or any basic infrastructure.
Roughly 250000 Palestinians are living in these unrecognized villages.
