The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday closed the southern and western entrances to Kifl Haris town west of Salfit province in the West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said that soldiers blocked two main roads leading to the town and prevented Palestinian citizens and vehicles from using them at the pretext of providing protection for Jewish settlers who use a nearby bypass road.
They added that the cars were forced to take other rough and rocky routes through nearby valleys and mountainous areas to reach their destinations.
The Israeli army repeatedly closes entrances to Palestinian towns and villages in the West Bank as a punitive measure against local residents whose sons throw stones at settlers’ cars.
