Mousa Abu Marzouk Deputy Head of Hamas Political Bureau met on Saturday with the Swiss envoy to the Peace Process in the Middle East Roland Stinger with the presence of the Hamas leaders Husam Badran and Maher Ebaid in Doha.
Abu Marzouk talked over the latest political developments on the Palestinian arena as well as the Hamas recent international moves.
He also highlighted the negative impacts of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s punitive measures against Gaza on the citizens and service sectors as well as on the humanitarian crisis in the blockaded coastal enclave.
Abu Marzouk expressed his Movement’s readiness to cooperate with the Swiss efforts and any other actions that would lead to achieving reconciliation.
For his part Stinger acquainted Hamas leaders with the efforts being exerted by his country for the sake of reaching Palestinian reconciliation as well as his meetings with Palestinian and regional parties for this regard.
