Member of Hamas’s political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has said that the real national unity should involve “honesty belief in partnership and resistance to the Zionist project.”
Hayya made his remarks during a mass wedding ceremony held on Friday evening for 200 young men and their brides in the western district of Rafah south of Gaza.
“We should renounce all meanings of division and believe in partnership because Jerusalem is our objective and Palestine is our land and home that belongs to all of us” the Hamas official underscored in his speech.
“Our choice is to be united and steadfast in the face of the occupation and all our efforts must be directed in a sincere way for real national unity that believes in partnership and defies the Zionist project because the enemy is not a friend neighbor or ally” he said.
