NAZARETH (PIC)– Israeli premier Ehud Olmert is to meet Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh next Thursday for discussions on Palestinian and regional developments the Hebrew radio reported.
The broadcast noted that Olmert’s visit to Egypt would follow his two-hour visit to Amman a few days ago where he discussed similar developments with Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II.
It said that details of Olmert’s visit would be deliberated during Egyptian foreign minister Ahmed Abul Ghait’s scheduled visit to Israel on Wednesday.
Abul Ghait is expected to meet Olmert his Israeli counterpart Tzipi Livni and war minister Amir Peretz along with other officials and opposition figures during his official visit to Tel Aviv.
