Thousands of Palestinians marched on Friday in the funeral procession of the Palestinian youth Mohamed Kan’an who succumbed to Israeli-inflicted wounds.
The funeral procession kicked off from Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah on way to the casualty’s hometown of Hizma northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli soldiers showed up at Jaba’ military checkpoint northeast of Jerusalem and came down heavily on the mourners.
Kan’an aged 26 was pronounced dead on Thursday evening after he succumbed to wounds sustained in clashes with the Israeli forces on July 24 in protest at the Israeli aggressions at al-Aqsa Mosque.
At least eight Palestinian protesters were left dead in Jerusalem clashes with the Israeli forces since July 14 2017.
