Hamas office in the West Bank acclaimed on Thursday Palestinians’ steadfastness in the face of Israel’s metal detectors set up outside holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas hailed the Jerusalemite worshipers and sit-inners for standing their ground as they defended holy al-Aqsa Mosque against Israeli assaults and sacrilegious schemes.
Hamas dubbed Israel’s removal of the metal detectors as proof of Israel’s frailty compared to the iron-will and unbroken determination the Palestinians are endowed with.
Hamas called for intensifying presence at al-Aqsa saying the battle with the Israeli occupation is not over yet.
On Wednesday the Israeli police removed the metal detectors set up at the main entrances to al-Aqsa following mass protests across the occupied Palestinian territories and around the world.
