Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani has strongly denounced Israel’s violation of the Aqsa Mosque’s sanctity and its attempts to impose its control over it.
In press remarks Larijani stressed that the Muslim world’s parliaments and the international community bear joint responsibility to prevent Israel from persisting in its inhumane actions in Occupied Jerusalem.
“The unfortunate events at the Aqsa Mosque in recent days and the violent Zionist practices that led to the martyrdom of four Palestinians and the injury of over 400 others from the native population of Palestine are heart-wrenching to every free human being” the speaker said.
He added that such painful events that happened in the context of a policy to Judaize Jerusalem and control it showed to the whole world once again Israel’s inhuman tendencies.
