Two Israeli soldiers were injured Tuesday afternoon in an alleged car-ramming attack near al-Khalil to the south of West Bank.
Spokesman for Israeli Army claimed that Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian car near Kiryat Arba settlement illegally built in al-Khalil.
Eyewitnesses affirmed that IOF soldiers opened their gunfire at a Palestinian while driving near Beit Anoun junction in al-Khalil.
The driver was reportedly injured during the incident according to Israeli sources.
However PIC reporter later affirmed that the driver succumbed to his wounds.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced it is following up the incident without identifying the martyr.
Military restrictions were imposed in the area where IOF closed all roads leading to the scene and erected a military checkpoint at the entrance to Bani Naim town preventing Palestinian movement in both directions
