Israeli interior minister Aryeh Deri on Thursday extended the prohibition on existing the country which had been previously issued against Sheikh Ra’ed Salah head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands.
A similar renewed travel ban was also handed down by the minister against Islamic Movement official Suleiman Mahajneh.
Deri justified his decision by claiming that the departure of these two Palestinian leaders from the country could harm the national security.
