Essam Yousef head of the Popular International Committee to Support Gaza hailed Egypt for allowing the entry of diesel fuel into the besieged Gaza Strip in order to run the sole power plant which has been shut down for two months.
In a press statement on Thursday Yousef called on Egypt to continue its support of the Gazan people in order to back up their steadfastness in light of the Israeli siege which has been in force for the past 11 years and which also included three bloody aggressions.
He stressed the need to open Rafah border crossing permanently for all travelers humanitarian as well as normal cases since the right to travel is a human right for all people.
