Powerful blast reported behind Gaza border

Tuesday 20-June-2017

A powerful blast was heard on Tuesday evening and clouds of smoke were seen in the skies of an Israeli site to the south of Abu Mteibek military base east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Security sources that preferred to stay anonymous told the PIC reporter that Israeli forces poured a chemical material in a ground hole 400 meters behind the separation fence along the border with 1948 Occupied Palestine. The inhabitants in the border area said that they felt something like a light earthquake.

Israeli army claims that every now and then they damage old tunnels used by resistance during the period of the Israeli aggression on Gaza between 2009 and 2014.
