Hamas Movement on Thursday evening demanded Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) to offer the blockaded Gaza Strip with required power supply.
The Movement said in a statement that the IOA should supply Gaza with electricity and other needs from Palestinian tax clearance money.
Hamas held the IOA responsible in full for repercussions of the Israeli decision to reduce power supply to the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Israeli cabinet decided last Monday to respond to the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) request to reduce electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip.
The IOA supplies Gaza with about 120 out of 450 megawatt needed in Gaza. It collects their prices from tax clearance money which is estimated at 182 million shekels monthly.
