Hamas Movement on Saturday praised the statements made by Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani in support of Palestinian resistance.
Spokesman for the Movement Fawzi Barhoum said that the Qatari minister’s statements reflect his country’s good will towards Palestine and its legitimate resistance.
Qatari Foreign Minister’s statements reflect the Arab noble values he said.
In an interview with Russia Today during a visit he paid to Moscow on Saturday the Qatari Minister denounced accusing Qatar of supporting Hamas Movement.
Hamas is not listed in the Gulf Cooperation Council’s terrorism lists even though it is listed in the US list of terrorist groups he said adding that relations with Hamas is not a charge.
He also affirmed his country’s support for the Palestinian people.
