A leader in Ezzeddeen al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement died Wednesday evening after he succumbed to wounds sustained earlier in the day in an accidental explosion in Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
According to the PIC reporter the 51-year-old Ibrahim Hussein Abu al-Naja was seriously injured yesterday afternoon in an accidental explosion at a resistance site near Rafah in which three other Hamas resistance fighters were injured.
Al-Qassam Brigades mourned his death reaffirming “commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the occupation forces.”
May Allah (SWT) accept the mujahed and his blessed efforts along the path of Jihad and may Allah grant his family patience and solace for his loss the Brigades said.
Hamas Movement also mourned Abu al-Naja calling for mass participation in his funeral.
Spokesman of the Health Ministry in Gaza Strip Ashraf al-Qidra earlier declared that Abu al-Naja passed away after sustaining critical wounds during the explosion which left three others injured.
