The Israeli navy forces opened fire on Sunday at Palestinian fishermen off the shores of the central and southern Gaza Strip with no injuries reported.
Fishermen told the PIC reporter in the southern Gaza Strip that Israeli navy gunboats opened fire at the boats of a number of fishermen who were sailing within the allowed fishing distance forcing them to return to the shore.
They added that the Israeli occupation boats deliberately target fishermen in the Gaza Sea and prevent them from practicing their work by shooting at them chasing them and seizing their boats.
Dozens of Gazan fishermen were killed injured and arrested as a result of such practiceover the past few years.
