Sheikh Mohamed Maswadi Mufti of al-Khalil province has called on the Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence at the Ibrahimi Mosque to protect it against Judaization plans.
In press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) Sheikh Maswadi affirmed that the Ibrahimi Mosque belongs solely to the Muslim nation and the Jews have no right to it.
He recalled the massacre that was committed by a Jewish settler in 1994 at the holy site during the holy month of Ramadan.
He urged the Palestinian citizens to frequent the Mosque and attend all prayers held there to frustrate any Israeli attempt to control it.
