Turkish society asks Erdogan to intervene for ending Gaza crises

Tuesday 30-May-2017

A Turkish humanitarian society Gazze Destek Derneği (GDD) asked the Turkish government and president Recep Tayyip Erdogan to quickly intervene for ending the aggravating crises in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Turkish GDD society called for holding an international humanitarian conference in order to address Gaza crises and to come up with methods to oblige the parties who are responsible for the Gaza siege to end it. It also aims at coordinating mechanisms for offering urgent humanitarian aid to save the lives of people in Gaza and to meet their urgent humanitarian needs.

This came in a press conference that was held on Tuesday in Istanbul city in Turkish Arabic and English languages to declare the release of the society’s annual report of the humanitarian situation in Gaza (2016).
