Ismail Haneyya Head of Hamas Political Bureau discussed Palestinian developments with Mikhail Bogdanov Russian Deputy Foreign Minister over the phone on Friday.
Haneyya’s office in Gaza said in a press statement that both sides had deep talks on several key issues including the issue of Palestinian hunger striking captives in Israeli jails as well as mutual relations.
They also talked over Hamas new political document and the Russian role in achieving Palestinian internal reconciliation. Russia welcomed Hamas new political document the statement pointed out.
The senior Hamas leader Haneyya also stressed the Palestinian people’s rights to their land and to achieve their freedom.
