Tuesday 9-May-2017

Egyptian authorities closed on Tuesday evening the Rafah border crossing with Gaza Strip after it was opened on Saturday in one direction for four days for the entry of the stranded people into the besieged coastal enclave.

Local sources said that the Egyptian gate of Rafah crossing was closed after the return of 3086 Gazan travelers who were trapped in the Egyptian side.

Over 20000 Palestinians who are in need of urgent travel are waiting in the blockaded Gaza Strip for the opening of the crossing in the other direction.
