2461 Settlers stormed the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem in April.
Al-Quds Center for Israeli and Palestinian studies said in a statement on Wednesday evening that 139 out of 2461 settlers carried out incursions into the courtyards of al-Aqsa in formal uniform (36 intelligence officers and 103 police members).
The number also included 256 Jewish students of the so-called “Students for the Temple of Solomon” in addition to 25896 tourists.
Higher number of Jewish settlers broke into the Muslims’ holy shrine this year compared to the same period last year. 1868 Israelis desecrated the holy site in April 2016.
