The Israeli occupation army carried out artillery exercises last night and at dawn Tuesday in Khirbet at-Tawil hamlet east of Aqraba town in the West Bank province of Nablus with no regard to the safety of local residents.
Eyewitnesses from Aqraba town reported seeing hundreds of soldiers near the homes of Khirbet at-Tawil Bedouins and on the nearby eastern plains ahead of the drills.
They also said loud explosions rocked their area throughout the night as a result of the firing of artillery shells in at-Tawil area.
Local farmers complained that conducting military drills in their area would ruin the grazing season which comes before the summer.
