A horde of Israeli settlers late on Thursday evening stormed Kafl Haris town north of Salfit and defiled holy Islamic sites in the second such assault during the day.
A PIC news correspondent said hundreds of fanatic settlers have stormed holy Islamic sites in Kafl Haris under a tight security shield.
The assault triggered furor among the native Palestinian inhabitants who voiced their firm condemnation of the increasing Israeli break-ins at sacred Islamic shrines.
According to eye-witnesses a number of settlers were spotted as holding arms all the way through the break-in.
At the early morning hours Israeli settlers broke into the holy shrines of Joshua Ben Nun and al-Kifl in Kafl Haris where they carried out a round of sacrilegious rites and chanted fanatic slogans.
Over recent days Israeli settlers stepped up break-ins at holy Islamic sites across the occupied Palestinian territories to mark the seven-day Jewish Passover holiday.
