Violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces resulting in the injury of dozens of Palestinians after Israeli forces stormed on Thursday Abu Dis town east of Occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that 24 young men of university students and others were wounded by Israeli rubber bullets and tear gas grenades in the vicinity of al-Quds University in the town.
Israeli patrols were stationed on Thursday morning at the campus main gate. They deliberately provoked the passing by Palestinians the eyewitnesses highlighted.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society revealed in a brief statement that 6 injuries resulted from rubber bullets while 18 others choked on tear gas.
