The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday the martyrdom of the Palestinian boy Jasem Nakhla 17 who died from the injuries he sustained after he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) north of Ramallah city two weeks ago.
The ministry said in a statement that Nakhla was seriously wounded when the IOF soldiers opened fire at the car he was riding with others near the entrance of Jalazoun refugee camp north of Ramallah.
In this incident which took place on 23rd March 2017 Mohammed al-Hattab 17 was killed and others including Nakhla were critically injured. Nakhla was transferred to an Israeli hospital due to his difficult condition before he was proclaimed dead on Monday.
Following Nakhla’s martyrdom the number of the Palestinians killed in the Jerusalem Intifada which erupted in October 2015 reached 293.
