Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces in the West Bank arrested on Tuesday three citizens and summonsed a journalist to be questioned in the PA headquarters. The PA forces also continued the detention of dozens of others for no legal justification.
Hamas official website reported on Tuesday that the PA intelligence apparatus rounded up an ex-detainee who suffers from a heart disease in Ramallah in addition to a young man in Tulkarem. A third youth activist was arrested by the PA preventive security forces in Ramallah.
The PA forces also extended the detention of a young man from Tulkarem to 48 hours.
In al-Khalil the PA preventive security apparatus on Tuesday morning summonsed journalist Mohammad Abu Jhaisheh from Ethna town while the intelligence apparatus in Jericho continued the remand of a university student from Nablus and an ex-detainee from Qalqilya.
