Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched Monday a new surveillance balloon over the eastern parts of Salfit eyewitnesses revealed.
The sources affirmed that Israeli soldiers stationed at Zaatara checkpoint launched since the early morning hours a spy balloon over a number of Palestinian villages between Nablus and Salfit.
The balloon is carrying aerial cameras the sources pointed out.
The Zaatara checkpoint is one of dozens in the occupied Palestinian territories restricting the movement of people and goods. It is the only passage between the northern and central West Bank.
