Yasouf farmers launch cry for help over Israeli cordon

Thursday 16-March-2017

Palestinian farmers in Yasouf town to the east of Salfit city sounded distress signals after the Israeli occupation army prevented them from reaching their own and only land lots in the area.

Yasouf farmers said that sometime earlier the Israeli army gave them a two-day permission to cultivate their land lots which they said was not enough.

The farmers appealed to the human rights institutions to urge the Israeli occupation authorities to allow them free access to their lands and olive orchards.

Yasouf town is surrounded by four Israeli settlement outposts a military camp two settler bypass roads and the Zaatara checkpoint.
