Hamas media department in Gaza honored on Tuesday journalists who earned international prizes in 2016.
Political bureau member of Hamas Khalil al-Hayya and director of Hamas information department Yasser Moussa along with prominent Hamas activists and MPs attended a ceremony held by the group in Gaza to honor Palestinian award-winning journalists.
Hamas leader Yasser Moussa called on the mass media to boost efforts in favor of the Palestinian cause.
For his part Khalil al-Hayya acclaimed the efforts made by the Palestinian journalists so as to disclose Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians.
The honored journalists expressed their gratitude to Hamas for the ceremony held for the third consecutive year.
