Israeli army to raze homes displace families in Jordan Valley

Tuesday 28-February-2017

The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday morning ordered Palestinian Bedouin families to evacuate their homes and structures in the Northern Jordan Valley near Tubas city as a prelude to demolishing them.

Palestinian local official Muataz Bisharat said that employees from the Israeli army’s civil administration came under military protection to ad-Deir hamlet and Kardala village in the valley and handed families evacuation and demolition orders.

Bisharat said that 16 crude homes tents and other structures are threatened with demolition at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to him the Israeli army has recently escalated its demolition and bulldozing activities in Palestinian Bedouin areas in the Northern Jordan Valley east of Occupied Jerusalem as part of its plans to force the native residents to abandon their areas.
