Hamas has been holding contacts to push for ceasing bloody strife in Ein al-Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon the group said Sunday.
Hamas said in a statement that its representatives in Lebanon have been holding contacts with Palestinian and Lebanese parties in an attempt to stop armed clashes in Ein al-Hilweh Camp.
“Such absurd clashes will only serve the Israeli occupation and harm the refugees’ cause” Hamas statement read.
Hamas reiterated its commitment to national unity and called for restructuring the high security commission in order to preserve security and peace in and around Ein al-Hilweh Camp.
