Head of al-Zaytouna Center for Studies in Lebanon Muhsen Saleh has said that the Conference of Palestinians abroad in Istanbul reflects “the Palestinian people’s determination to regain their vitality to build their institutions and impose their role in the struggle for liberation and return.”
In press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) on Saturday Saleh described the conference as a message of steadfastness solidarity and unity from the Palestinian people to the leaders of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the makers of the Oslo accords.
This message he said confirms that “the Palestinians abroad will enforce themselves on the Palestinian agenda and their role in the project of liberation and return without waiting for permission from anyone.”
He emphasized that the Palestinians abroad would take initiatives and would not allow anyone to block their way calling on those incapable of working for Palestine to step aside.
“The Palestinian people are alive conscious and adherent fully to their right to their land from the river to the sea and they will continue their struggle wherever they are until their return to their land after its liberation from the occupation” the head of al-Zaytouna Center said.
The Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad kicked off on Saturday in the Turkish city of Istanbul with the participation of thousands of Palestinians in the diaspora.
