The Financial Times (United Kingdom) newspaper opined that Israel’s abandonment of the two-state solution affects its international legitimacy enhances the boycott campaign and promotes extremism in the region.
In Tuesday’s editorial of the Financial Times (FT) which was translated into Arabic by the BBC the newspaper said that the abandonment of the two-state solution will allow increasing settlement expansion and subjecting Palestinians. It also will lead to a one state with first and second class citizens.
The FT newspaper said that “Donald Trump has brushed aside two decades of the US policy and the international policy with regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict”.
The US President Donald Trump expressed during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu his approval to any solution either the two-state or the one-state to Israeli-Palestinian conflict as long as it is agreed upon by both sides.
