Islamic resistance Movement Hamas said that maintaining security in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp along with other camps in Lebanon is a strategic priority and a final decision.
The Hamas media official in Lebanon Rafat Murrah said in a press statement on Tuesday that his Movement is keen on preserving Palestinian national identity and on protecting Palestinians. It is also keen on keeping them aloof from local disputes in addition to regional and sectarian conflicts he added.
Murrah affirmed Hamas’s adherence to the Palestinian initiative that was launched in 2014 for the aim of maintaining joint Palestinian-Lebanese stability and security and coming up with solutions for humanitarian social and security issues.
