Two rockets fired from the Sinai Peninsula landed Monday morning in Eshkol region in southern Israel Israeli media sources claimed.
0404 Hebrew website said that two rockets from the Sinai Peninsula struck an open field in Eshkol which borders the Gaza Strip.
No one was injured and no damage was caused by the missiles the website added.
According to 0404 the rockets were not shot down by the missile defense battery while the rocket alert system was not activated in the area.
The rocket fire came just one day after Israeli army carried out an air strike in Sinai according to the website.
