The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched overnight and at dawn Monday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank. A number of Palestinians were detained during the campaign.
According to the PIC reporter Israeli forces arrested an activist in Hamas Movement who earlier served time in Israeli jails after breaking into Rummana town west of Jenin and brutally attacked another man who was in the scene at that time.
Three other Palestinians were also arrested from Jenin refugee camp including two martyrs’ brother.
In Qalqilia Israeli forces stormed at dawn today Azzoun town and arrested two locals after breaking into their houses.
The PIC reporter quoted local sources as saying that five Israeli patrols stormed the town amid heavy fire of teargas bombs and broke into two local houses before arresting their owners.
The two detainees were taken to unknown detention centers.
In Nablus the IOF arrested two youngsters after breaking into their houses in Tel town west of Nablus city including an ex-detainee.
Another young man was arrested in al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah while three others were detained in al-Khalil.
