The Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces on Monday arrested students at the main gate of Kadoorie University in Tulkarem and threatened to storm the campus to arrest others.
Local sources said that PA soldiers rounded up two Hamas-affiliated students from the Islamic Bloc outside the university which prompted others to stay on campus to avoid arrest.
The sources added that the PA security conducted its arrest campaign after students from the Islamic Bloc the student wing of Hamas staged an exhibition on campus.
There is still no information if the PA forces stormed the campus and arrested other students.
