Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday opened fire at the 19-year-old Palestinian Yahya Sarhan at Jbara military checkpoint to the south of Tulkarem.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement that the Palestinian young man was shot and injured in his foot.
The wounded Sarhan was transferred to hospital in Tulkarem city and taken immediately to the operations room the statement added.
