Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Sunday erected a number of military checkpoints at the entrances of the southern towns and villages of al-Khalil and checked the IDs of passing by Palestinians.
The PIC reporter revealed that the IOF soldiers set up a military barrier at the entrance of al-Fuwar refugee camp south of al-Khalil and stopped Palestinians’ cars resulting in a severe traffic jam.
In a similar context Israeli troops Saturday night stormed Sourif town to the west of the city as well as al-Aroub refugee camp and carried out search and storming operations into Palestinians’ homes and commercial shops. No arrests however were reported.
