Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday endorsed the establishment of 68 new Jewish housing units in Ofra outpost to the north of Ramallah.
Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported that the settlement construction decision came in compensation for the Israeli Supreme Court’s recent resolution of knocking down 9 housing units.
Earlier on Thursday Israeli authorities approved the construction of 153 new housing units in Gilo settlement outpost in Occupied Jerusalem. This came two days after the endorsement of a resolution which stipulates the establishment of 2500 settlement units in the outposts of the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
